Vince and Eddie are two hapless young ski teachers who share digs in the basement of the ski-school. One is the king of the slope, and the life and soul of every after-ski, the other is a delicate soul. Eddie overthinks things, whereas Vince prefer to act first. For Vince, the valley is his oyster and offer all the necessities of life: women, sex, and snow. Eddie, on the other hand, wants out.

When Eddie gets an offer that simply cannot be refused – to manage a Sochi ski-school- from stinking rich eccentric Achenbach, and Vince takes it upon himself to see to the extracurricular activities of the lovely Achenbach daughter, an exciting new future opens up to the lads. All seem to be running smoothly. That is, until the unfortunate demise (some say suicide…)of Miss Achenbachs darling dog. And when all efforts to hide the incriminating remains fail, the somewhat singed carcass ends up an unwelcome guest at the Aschenbach christmas party, and Eddie and Vince are faced with the problem of explaining the peculiar winter-barbecue habits of the Austrians, to the bemused Achenbachs.
